Guus Hiddink insists Eden Hazard is happy at Chelsea, and believes the struggling winger can regain his best form to win the PFA Player of the Year crown next year.

Hazard has endured a disappointing campaign this term, and only ended his goal drought - which lasted 29 Premier League games - at the weekend when he scored twice in Chelsea's 4-1 away win against Bournemouth.

The Belgian has been linked numerous times to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain in recent months, although the 25-year-old appeared to suggest his future lies at Stamford Bridge.

And, with the 25-year-old fully fit again following a series of injury problems, Hiddink believes Hazard will be back to his best form again next term - and could challenge Riyad Mahrez for the PFA Player of the Year award, which he won last season.

"Normally after you have won this prize, if you have a bad season you are a little bit hurt, but he has the capacity to gain it back in the upcoming years," Hiddink told Chelsea's official website.

Player Ratings: Bournemouth vs Chelsea

"From what I know he's very happy with everyone in and around Chelsea. He will be very important next season."

He added: "Eden's had a very difficult season, falling into injuries, coming back, nearly back, playing half a game.

"Then we said, 'Let's train well, treat him well and take a little bit more time so that once you're back, you have to be back well.' He showed that against Bournemouth.

"When he is fully fit, physically and mentally, he's one of the best. [This performance] gives him a boost for the last games.

"I saw him moving more freshly. He enjoyed it, he was free of any doubt in his mind. That was a good sign for me."
