Chelsea transfer target Edinson Cavani has revealed he will hold talks with Paris Saint-Germain to determine whether he has a future with the French champions.

The Uruguay international could leave PSG this summer after becoming frustrated with his lack of playing time at the club due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic being preferred in attack for the Ligue 1 giants.

Despite insisting he has no issues with Ibrahimovic's importance to PSG's success in recent years, Cavani admits he plans to talk with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi once the current campaign ends to decide whether to stay or leave the club.

"At the end of the season, we will discuss my situation with the president. I am ready to continue with PSG," Cavani told Telefoot.

"I have gone through three difficult seasons at PSG, but the support of the fans is important. I am very happy with Ibrahimovic's form and that he helps the team move forward.

"It is a very difficult moment for me, but I believe in myself. I am looking towards the future."

While Chelsea's expected new coach, Antonio Conte, is believed to be keen on signing Cavani for the Blues this summer, Juventus have also been linked with a transfer for the 29-year-old striker.

The Uruguayan, who previously played for Serie A outfit Napoli, insists that returning to Italy would not be a step backwards for his career - although he refused to comment on whether he would be interested in a switch to Juventus.

"It is nice to know that there is interest from Serie A," he added. "I enjoyed some fantastic seasons there. Could I find back my best form at Juventus? We'll see…

"A lot of things have happened this year. I am in a difficult situation because I do not understand it."
