England captain Harry Kane not satisfied with World Cup performances despite Golden Boot

England captain Harry Kane has admitted that he "could have done better" at this summer's World Cup, despite winning the Golden Boot as the tournament's top scorer.

Kane will receive the trophy at Wembley tomorrow night, before England's Uefa Nations League opener against Spain, and will wear specially made gold boots to mark the occasion.

The Tottenham striker scored six times in Russia, including a last minute winner against Tunisia in the group stage and a crucial penalty against Colombia in the last 16.

He also became only the third Englishman to score a World Cup hat-trick, after Sir Geoff Hurst and Gary Lineker. However, he looked short of full fitness as the tournament wore on and admitted that he wasn't entirely satisfied with his performances.

"I think I could have done better at the World Cup if I'm perfectly honest," he said.

"It was great, I scored some good goals and important goals but there was stuff I could have done better as well.

"Certain finishes I could've done better, certain movements. It's all part of the learning curve."
