Jude Bellingham and Lewis Dunk withdraw from England squad

Jude Bellingham and Lewis Dunk have withdrawn from the England squad for the upcoming European qualifiers due to injuries.

Bellingham, who is set to join Real Madrid for around £115million, is still struggling with the same hamstring injury which ruled out him out Borussia Dortmund's season finale, where they drew 2-2 with Mainz to deny them the Bundesliga title.

The 19-year-old midfielder will continue his rehabilitation at the national football centre.

Dunk was included by manager Gareth Southgate in his squad of 25 players for the upcoming qualifiers in Malta on June 16 and against North Macedonia at Old Trafford in Manchester on June 19.

The Brighton and Hove Albion defender withdrew from the squad due to an ongoing injury issue that has affected his match fitness.

Five of City's Champions League-winning squad - John Stones, Jack Grealish, Phil Foden, Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips - will join the group after their celebrations.
