Fulham will assess Timothy Fosu-Mensah’s shoulder injury this week amid fears the defender could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

Fosu-Mensah, who is on loan from Manchester United, suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Everton and was stretchered off after eight minutes.

Cyrus Christie came on for Fosu-Mensah and is likely to deputise at right-back while the 20-year-old is sidelined.

Manager Slavisa Jokanovic was disappointed with the way Fulham collapsed in the second half at Goodison Park.

He said: “We must understand where we are and we could pay a really expensive price if we do not adapt. We are in a kind of growing-up process.”

Fulham play Arsenal at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
