Guus Hiddink has told his Chelsea players they must target the Champions League, FA Cup and a top-four finish this season.
Hiddink has been put in charge for the rest of the campaign following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal last week.
Chelsea have lost nine League matches to slump to 15th in the table — 11 points behind Tottenham in fourth.
They have a tough last-16 tie in Europe against Paris St Germain, who beat them at the same stage in March, and play Scunthorpe in the third round of the FA Cup. But speaking to Chelsea TV, Hiddink believes a dream treble is realistic and said: “I talked to the players about the targets. Mathematically we can still finish fourth and qualify for the Champions League next season. That’s a target. It’s a difficult target but not impossible. We have to aim for that.
“Secondly we have the Champions League in February/March and to go through to the next round is a target of course. And then, hopefully, in May we still have the FA Cup.”

Hiddink was at Stamford Bridge for the game against Sunderland last Saturday and saw the fans blame the players for Mourinho’s dismissal.
The squad will face the home crowd again on Boxing Day when they take on Watford and Hiddink feels the rift will only be repaired if the squad put in more effort.
He added: “What’s important now is the team show the desire to win back the fans. I was in the stands last week and there was, and has to be, critical sounds — that’s normal in the situation.
“But the team have the obligation, and feel they must, win back the support of the crowd. No one can guarantee results but if they show the desire then the loyal support will back us very soon.”
