Chelsea look to continue their recent upturn in form as they welcome Brentford to Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Mauricio Pochettino's side won three games on the bounce before the international break and backed it up with an impressive showing last weekend against Arsenal, in a match they ultimately only took a point from.
The Blues had a two-goal lead over the Gunners and were the better team for much of the match, but let themselves down defensively in the closing stages as Arsenal mounted a late comeback.
It is still a marked improvement on what Chelsea were producing earlier in the season, and the challenge is now maintaining that against the Bees and then in upcoming matches against the likes of Tottenham, Manchester City and Brighton.
Brentford will arrive at Stamford Bridge full of confidence though, having won at the ground in each of the last two seasons. Thomas Frank's side have not yet been at their best this term, but will move above Chelsea in the table if they can come once again come away with all three points this afternoon.
