Jewell: Warnock's actually nice

At the turn of the year Queens Park Rangers would have looked at tonight's home fixture against Ipswich as a banker after outclassing them at Portman Road earlier this season.

But since Paul Jewell replaced Roy Keane as manager, Ipswich have taken 14 points from six unbeaten games.

Adding to the spice is Jewell's tale of a one-time clash with Neil Warnock when the Rangers boss was at Huddersfield.

"It's all forgotten now. Look beyond his antics and Neil Warnock is a nice bloke," said Jewell.

He won't be so nice if teenage striker Connor Wickham continues his recent form and could bring in Danny Shittu to counter the threat.
