Everton manager Roberto Martinez spoke of his 'pure anger' after John Terry's late equaliser was allowed to stand despite being offside.

Chelsea rescued a point in the 98th-minute after Everton had edged ahead in the final moments of normal time, but Terry was a shade ahead of the vistor's last line of defence when Oscar glanced the ball his way.

The Blues had fallen two goals down after Kevin Mirallas added to an earlier Terry own goal, but Cesc Fabregas set up Diego Costa before the latter repaid the favour to pull Guus Hiddink's men level.

Ramiro Funes Mori seemed to have snatched all three points when he nodded the Toffees in front at the back post, but Terry, who had opened the scoring at the wrong end, produced a clever flick to have the final word.

Asked how he was feeling at the end of the game, Martinez told BBC Sport: "Anger, pure anger."

Martinez adds: "It's a clear-cut offside that should have been spotted. To make it worse, it's 50 seconds over time. It's something that's not good enough.

"There is no explanation. It's a big, big error."
