Jose Mourinho hopes to see an "amazing" football match betwen Tottenham and Chelsea this week after his Manchester United team moved level on points with Spurs on Monday.
Goals from Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic secured a 2-0 win for the Red Devils at the London Stadium - the club's sixth straight Premier League victory - which takes the club onto 39 points, the same as Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino's men can go three points clear of United should they beat their London rivals Chelsea, although it will prove a tough task with Antonio Conte's league leaders coming into the match at White Hart Lane off the back of 13 successive top-flight wins.
But Mourinho, speaking after United's 2-0 victory over West Ham just two days after they played Middlesbrough, believes the game between Spurs and Chelsea is set to be an entertaining affair because he feels both sides are fresher than his Red Devils team were at the London Stadium.
"It was not a very good peformance," Mourinho said of United's showing against West Ham. "It's difficult to play after 48 hours. It's amazing for the fans around the world and I'm more than happy for that.
"But it's hard for us and not just the team with 10 but also with 11. My players were tired. [They made] lots of wrong decisions. I feel immediately when you are fresh you play simple.
"When you are not fresh you play complicated. Always the wrong shots. Only when I brought fresh people on like [Juan] Mata and [Marcus] Rashford that things changed. We deserved to win.
"If [Michail] Antonio scored, 1-0, we don't win the game. Congratulations to us but also to them.
"In relation to Tottenham and Chelsea, I hope it's an amazing football match. They are fresh so let's hope for a big match."
