Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has remained coy over the future of star striker Kylian Mbappe, amid new rumours of a move to Liverpool.

Reports in France have named the Premier League leaders as major players in Mbappe's future, after he became eligible for talks over a pre-contract agreement with just six months left to run on his stay at PSG.

The Frenchman, 25, angered Les Parisiens when revealing in the summer that he would not take up an option to extend his contract past this coming June.

That has put the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and clubs in Saudi Arabia on high alert.

Madrid have been tipped to put a contract offer in front of Mbappe which will expire in the middle of the month, whereas there is also talk of an extension to stay in Paris.

When asked how he would manage Mbappe during the transfer window, coach Luis Enrique responded: "As I always have done up to this point."

He added: "It isn’t an issue that depends on me. I am not the one to respond to this question."

PSG face Toulouse in the Trophee des Champions, the French version of the Community Shield, on Wednesday night to end their winter break before what could be a long month of speculation over Mbappe's future.
