Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Fabinho’s return for the Champions League final against Real Madrid later this month.

The Brazilian pulled up with a hamstring injury against Aston Villa in midweek and the FA Cup final against Chelsea on Saturday will come too soon for him.

However, Klopp has confirmed that Fabinho will “definitely” make the trip to Paris while the final Premier League games against Southampton and Wolves remain in the balance.

“He will definitely be back for the Champions League final,” Klopp told reporters on Friday.

“Before, we will see. We don't know. He is okay, he's a professional. Obviously he's not happy about it, that's clear. But he took it, he's absolutely okay.”

Jordan Henderson is set to start the Wembley clash this weekend alongside Naby Keita and Thiago Alcantara in midfield. Otherwise, Klopp has a fully-fit squad to pick from.

The Liverpool boss stated ahead fo the game that his squad had only recently built up the strength needed to compete for the FA Cup trophy alongside their other competitions.
