Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers made three changes to the side which lost at Crystal Palace on Sunday as the Reds prepared to face Ludogorets.

Jordan Henderson recovered from illness to start in a midfield which included Lucas Leiva, while Adam Lallana and Coutinho dropped out.

At the back Kolo Toure was selected to start ahead of Dejan Lovren - who was named among the substitutes - after the Ivorian's impressive display against Real Madrid in Liverpool's last European outing.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Manquillo, Skrtel, Toure, Johnson, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling, Lambert.
