Fans across the country have turned their attention to footballing nostalgia with the Premier League suspended indefinitely due to the Covid-19 crisis.

Particularly, a focus on 'Best XIs' have helped fill the void, with a number of pundits, journalists and fans providing their picks fitting a variety of conditions.

Manchester City currently reign as one of the most fearsome teams in English football having claimed each of the last six domestic trophies - including the Community Shield - on offer.

And while younger fans have grown up idolising the likes of Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and Kevin De Bruyne, older fans may argue that Colin Bell is the greatest player to ever wear a City shirt.

Here at Standard Sport, we want to know what you think, City fans. Who would be included in your greatest-ever XI?

Firstly, we'll be asking you to pick from which decade - beginning in the 1950s - you would like each area of the team to be sourced, before then presenting you with the best players and combinations from that specific time period.

Of course, every great team requires a manager of similar stature, and you can also select from our options - although you'd be brave to look beyond Pep Guardiola.

City fans, vote in the poll above!
