England goalkeeper Joe Hart returned to the Manchester City starting line-up for their Champions League home clash against Viktoria Plzen.

Hart lost his place earlier this month after a series of high-profile mistakes but was given another opportunity as City hosted the Czech minnows in their final Group D home match.

With City already through to the last 16, Hart's return was one of seven changes made by manager Manuel Pellegrini, which also saw Edin Dzeko coming in up front alongside Sergio Aguero.

Man City: Hart, Richards, Demichelis, Lescott, Kolarov, Milner, Javi Garcia, Fernandinho, Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko. Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Negredo, Jesus Navas, Boyata, Toure, Huws.

Plzen: Kozacik, Rajtoral, Cisovsky, Prochazka, Hubnik, Petrzela, Horava, Horvath, Duris, Kolar, Tecl. Subs: Bolek, Hejda, Reznik, Wagner, Kovarik, Bakos, Pospisil.
