Manchester United forward Radamel Falcao followed Spanish giants Real Madrid on Twitter on Sunday evening as speculation over his Old Trafford future continues to gather momentum.

The 29-year-old has scored just four Premier League goals this season since a season-long loan move from Monaco was completed on September's transfer deadline day.

The Colombia international's underwhelming form this term has made it increasingly unlikely he will make his temporary to Old Trafford permanent in the summer.

Falcao's Italian-based agent Giovanni Branchini hinted at a return to discussions with Juventus this summer but the forward says he is 100 per cent focused on trying to secure his future at United.

Real are among a number of big clubs ready to pounce if United don't trigger the stiker's £42million buyout clause and Falcao sparked a social media storm when he followed Los Blancos on Twitter last night.
