The January transfer window is entering its final phase.

Deadline day is fast approaching and time is no longer on the side of Premier League clubs.

Major deals have been sparser than many fans would have liked, but we can still expect plenty of business to be done between now and the end of the month.

Most Tottenham supporters will be hoping that Mauricio Pochettino is among the managers who opt to bring in new faces ahead of the second half of the season.

Spurs are in an enviable position, given that they are currently nestled in the top four, but their front line is a little light.

Should Harry Kane be struck down with injury, the north Londoners' attacking threat would be brought to its knees.

Several attacking targets have been mentioned this month - including Saido Berahino - but none have come to fruition.

The latest man to be linked with White Hart Lane is Barcelona youngster Sandro Ramirez.

The 20-year-old is available for £9m and is keen to secure regular football, having played second fiddle at the Camp Nou for some time.

Spurs are reported to be interested in his services but they're not the only English club tracking the Spaniard as Newcastle United are also monitoring the striker's situation.
