Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has said Arsenal won't copy Chelsea's playing style in a bid to end their 11-year wait for a Premier League title.

Gunners fans chanted “boring, boring Chelsea” before and after the 0-0 draw at Emirates Stadium on Sunday which all-but sealed the title for Jose Mourinho's side.

Arsene Wenger has not led his side to a Premier League crown since 2004, a period which has already seen the Blues lift the trophy three times, but Giroud says the north Londoners will not adapt their expansive game to chase silverware next season.

Asked if Chelsea's style is dull, the Frenchman told reporters: “Boring? I don’t know but there is the table which speaks for them.

“It is true maybe they are not [playing] the same game as us but we are not going to change our game and I think they are not going to change their game.

“I think they are pleased with that and if they are champions, what can you say?”
