Manchester City are closing in on a £20million deal for Sevilla winger Jesus Navas.

The FA Cup runners-up agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old Spain international last night and he is expected to be unveiled as the club’s first summer signing this week.

Speaking last weekend, Navas revealed: “I am open to anything because my main aim now is to try to win titles. City are a team I like a lot.”

Navas, who also attracted interest from Real Madrid, is expected to be joined at the Etihad Stadium by new manager Manuel Pellegrini, although the Chilean’s arrival has yet to be confirmed.
