Neil Warnock will form part of Chris Ramsey’s backroom staff tonight for the first time since returning to Queens Park Rangers in an advisory role, writes Giuseppe Muro.

Warnock is back at Loftus Road on a part-time basis to offer advice and assist the head coach.

Rangers host Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and the 66-year-old (right) will be with Ramsey in the dressing room but it is unclear if he will sit in the dugout or whether he will watch the match from the directors’ box.

QPR are looking to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Birmingham.

Charlie Austin remains sidelined with a hamstring problem so Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is set to keep his place.
