Russell Slade still believes in O's

Ian Gibb11 April 2012

Leyton Orient's play-off hopes may have suffered a significant blow at Exeter following Saturday's 2-1 defeat, but manager Russell Slade is still confident his side can secure a top six finish.

Orient are five points off the play-offs with four games left, but Slade insists they can still make it and said: "I believe. I just need the players to believe in themselves more. I believe little old Orient can get in the top six. I got little old Yeovil into the top six. So why not little old Orient?"

The answer may lie in a lack of goals, only nine in the last 10 games has proved costly. But if Orient can win at Peterborough on Friday, they still have a chance.
