Scots name Regan as new SFA chief

A former director of the Football League was today appointed chief executive of the Scottish Football Association.

Stewart Regan, who led the rebranding of the Championship, joins the SFA after four years as chief executive of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

The 46-year-old replaces Gordon Smith, who stood down from the post in April after almost three years in the job.
