Manchester City resume their latest quest for Champions League glory as they meet Sporting CP in the last-16 on Monday night.
Pep Guardiola’s side came almightily close to lifting the trophy for the first time last season, only to be beaten by English rivals Chelsea in the final in Porto, and have their sights set on going one better this year, with the Premier League title already looking set to return to the Etihad.
They return to Portugal on Tuesday night, this time to Lisbon, to face a Sporting side who qualified from a tricky group at the expense of Borussia Dortmund before Christmas.
