Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino delighted to push Premier League title pressure back onto Chelsea

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says the Premier League title "pressure" will be back on Chelsea when they face Manchester United on Sunday.

Spurs swatted Bournemouth aside this afternoon courtesy of a 4-0 scoreline, extending their unbeaten home record at the expense of Eddie Howe's side.

The north Londoners appear primed to push Antonio Conte's men all the way during the run-in, having won seven consecutive top-flight fixtures in recent weeks.

The gap stands at four points and Pochettino is hopeful the Blues will slip up at Old Trafford: "Our job was to get the three points. Now if they fail we are there.

"The pressure is on Chelsea to win at Old Trafford and tomorrow will be very tough for them.

"It will be fantastic tomorrow night if the gap is still four points."

Pochettino was quick to warn that Chelsea will remain in the driving seat even if they fail to beat Jose Mourinho's side but is delighted his team are a competitive force for the second season in a row.

"Four points is still a lot. They are the favourites and they are on the top. We are fighting for ourselves and to be there and play for the top four.

"For the second consecutive season we are there and it's fantastic for the club," Pochettino added.
