Tottenham team news: Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon could both play against Aston Villa after injury

Tottenham’s options at wing-back are set to be boosted by the returns of Sergio Reguilon and Ryan Sessegnon.

Reguilon sat out Spurs’ 5-1 win over Newcastle on Sunday with a knock but has returned to training and is expected to be available for this weekend's visit to Aston Villa.

Manager Antonio Conte said last week that Sessegnon was "very, very close" to recovering from a hamstring injury and the England Under-21 international could also be involved on Saturday, having not played since pulling up in the 5-0 win over Everton on March 7.

The return of the duo would increase competition in Conte's squad after Matt Doherty deputised successfully at left wing-back against the Magpies, scoring and then assisting Emerson Royal, who came into the side for Reguilon.

Conte nearly has a fully-fit squad for the run-in, although Oliver Skipp remains sidelined with a pelvis injury and Japhet Tanganga has been ruled out until pre-season following knee surgery.
