As if being ridiculously talented on the football pitch was enough Alexis Sanchez has taken it upon himself to shame all Grade 2 pianists with his technique on the ivory.
Admittedly the average footballer has plenty of free time to take up hobbies off the field, but then Sanchez is far from the average footballer. And a talented musician as well? It’s enough to make you rage.
His performance of irredeemably dreadful Titanic theme song ‘My Heart Will Go On’ offered a more gentle perspective on the 27-year-old than the remorseless hurricane of energy he is when he pulls on an Arsenal shirt.
With a teddy bear on the mantelpiece and a candle on top of the piano it’s almost a romantic night in the Sanchez household.
