Watford vs Burnley: Walter Mazzarri's men must build on Arsenal win, says Danny Murphy

Who are the real Watford? The side who won at Arsenal and turned Manchester United over earlier in the season or the one who lost 6-1 at Liverpool in November, when they produced as bad a performance as I have seen?

One thing is clear, though: they are playing for Walter Mazzarri.

Before the Arsenal game, they had taken only three points from a possible 21 and that put their boss under the microscope.

"There were so many good Watford performances against Arsenal with players putting themselves on the line"

But they really dug in at the Emirates, showing a desire and commitment to turn things around.

There were so many good performances with players putting themselves on the line.

That result will give them a boost after their poor run.

When you’re struggling and you get an unexpected win, a weight is lifted from the team and you play with more freedom.

Win here and the prospect of relegation fades.
