West Ham could be bolstered by the return of Marko Arnautovic for the visit of Wolves this weekend, after he returned to training this week.

The Hammers go in search of their first Premier League win, and point, of the season having fallen to defeats against Liverpool, Bournemouth and Arsenal so far.

Arnautovic hobbled off during the 3-1 loss at the Emirates with a knee problem but returned to first team training this week ahead of the clash with the newly promoted side, who picked up a point against champions Manchester City last weekend.

The Austrian was in the stands for West Ham’s 3-1 League Cup win at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday, stood pitchside with manager Manuel Pellegrini during the warm-up and watching on as goals from Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Javier Hernandez saw the Hammers through to the next round.

"He passed all the examinations with the doctor, from Tuesday he worked all week and has no problems," Pellegrini said.

Michail Antonio came off with an ankle problem at Arsenal, however, he was called upon off the bench on Tuesday though Pellegrini has been using the forward sparingly so far this season, as he recovers from surgery which ended his campaign under David Moyes.

Other than their three long-term absentees, Andy Carroll, Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini, West Ham have a clean bill of health going into the weekend.
