Will Tottenham finish above Arsenal? 'Spurs will be tested when they become the team being chased'

Spurs have been forced to operate in Arsenal's shadow throughout the Premier League era.

Arsene Wenger has led the Gunners to the title on three occasions while Spurs have struggled to find the right formula to challenge their north London rivals on a consistent basis.

However, the tables could be about to turn.

St. Totteringham's Day might not take place this season because at present it's Arsenal who trail their rivals in the Premier League table.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are ahead of Wenger and co on goal difference only but the gap could be extended to three points this weekend, depending on how the pair's fortunes pan out against Manchester City and Leicester respectively.

But can Tottenham actually finish above Arsenal this season? Will Pochettino' side falter now they are the team being chased? Or can they last the course and prove that they no longer possess a soft underbelly?
