Yossi Benayoun has confirmed he will quit Chelsea in the summer when his contract runs out.

The Israel international, who has complained to the club about being the target of anti-semitic abuse from the fans, has failed to make an impact since he joined from Liverpool in 2010.

Benayoun claims it is his decision, rather than Chelsea’s, to move on and is considering a number of offers in Europe and the USA.

He said: “If I wanted to stay perhaps I could, but I'm looking for a team where I can express myself more.

"Agents are talking about offers from America, Spain, Russia and England, but there’s nothing concrete at the moment.

"I've no regrets about staying at Chelsea. I've been a strong part of the rotation system, starting some games and coming on as a sub in others. That’s something to be taken into account, when there are attacking midfielders in the squad like (Juan) Mata, Oscar, (Victor) Moses and (Eden) Hazard."

When asked if there had been any developments in the club’s investigation into his treatment from a section of Chelsea supporters, he added: "The club is dealing with this. I'm not the type to whine because several dozen fans did what they did. Most fans support me."
