France v Ireland

13 April 2012

France are banking on a mixture of old and new in the Grand Slam decider against Ireland in Paris tomorrow.

The older vintage of Olivier Magne, Raphael Ibanez, Fabien Pelous and Fabien Galthie will line up with youngsters Aurelien Rougerie, Damien Traille and Imanol Harinordoquy.

"Some of them are too young to really know what pressure is and that is probably for the best," said flanker Magne. "Their objective is simply to have fun on the pitch and so far this has worked well."

Les Bleus are unbeaten since the New Zealand Test in Wellington on 30 June and to win the Slam they must beat the Irish, who have captain Keith Wood back. France v Ireland, 1.45pm, tomorrow, live BBC2
