Matt Gafa has promised to restore Harlequins' pride after last week's 46-6 drubbing at Huddersfield.

Quins had won three of their four Super League outings before their trip to Huddersfield but their worst performance of the season has left Gafa desperate to make amends when Hull travel to The Stoop on Saturday night.

Gafa said: "We'll be going all out to put some pride back into the team with a decent performance against Hull. The main thing is that we want to do well for our fans and we've got that chance on Saturday."

The former Canberra Raiders centre missed eight months last season due to a serious chest injury.

Now back in action, he has already scored four tries this season and is feeling better with every game.

He added: "I've still got a few things to work on but I'm slowly making progress with every week that passes. It's just about getting a bit more confident."
