Grosjean back on track

Sebastien Grosjean won his first match for more than a month when he beat Croatian Ivo Karlovic 6-3, 7-6 today to reach the third round of the Japan Open in Tokyo.

The Frenchman, who defeated Tim Henman at Wimbledon, took the first set comfortably and won 10-8 in a tiebreak for the second set.

"Tiebreaks always involve a bit of luck," said Grosjean, who faces Dutchman Dennis van Scheppingen in the quarter-finals.
