2000-01 Quarter-final: Thierry Henry and Ray Parlour gave Arsenal a 2-1 win at Highbury but John Carew struck late in Valencia to secure a win on away goals.

2001-02 Second group stage: A 2-0 home defeat by Deportivo La Coruna effectively ended Arsenal's hopes of a last eight place.

2002-03 Second group stage: A 2-1 defeat in Spain ends Arsenal's interest in a competition many experts had tipped them to win.
