Hankey blows hot

Champion Ted Hankey is confident he can head off the challenge of nearest rival Raymond Barneveld in tonight's Embassy World Championship darts quarter-final.

Barneveld was favourite to dethrone Hankey and make it three victories in four years when the bookmakers issued their pre-tournament odds.

But Hankey said: "I know Raymond well and I'm confident of beating him over the best of nine sets."
