Brede Hangeland hasrevealed he is prepared to snub Arsenal and pledge his future to Fulham after the club reached Europe for only the second time.

The Norway international revealed that Fulham's achievement in reaching the new Europa League makes it more likely that he will sign a new contract to stay at Craven Cottage.

The 27-year-old said: "The club has been going in the right direction from the time I came here in January last year. Hopefully we can agree a new contract, and then I'll stay here for a long time."
