Kenny Jackett hoping that Price is right to fill injured Neil Harris' role

Out of action: Neil Harris was taken off on a stretcher during the weekend win over Crewe

Neil Harris will be missing for the next two games as Millwall continue their push for promotion from League One.

The striker was taken off on a stretcher during the weekend win over Crewe, and his replacement Jason Price scored the only goal in a 1-0 success.

Although the absence of record club goalscorer Harris is a blow to Kenny Jackett, the Lions manager is hopeful that Price can fill the void, having made an instant impact after signing on loan from Doncaster last Thursday.

"Neil has three stitches below eye and a broken nose and will be in pain for a few days," said Jackett. "It's unlikely he can play the next couple of games but Jason Price has come in and done well."

Price scored in the final minute to leave his new club five points behind second-placed Peterborough. He said: "I came on in unfortunate circumstances - but I scored and am looking forward to the rest of the season now."

Leyton Orient have increased their survival chances with a 2-1 win over Oldham and manager Geraint Williams hopes the success has put to bed concerns over their home form.

Scott McGleish and Jason Demetriou scored and Orient are now 15th in the table - although still just three points above the drop zone.

Williams added: "Playing at home has been a bit of a monkey on the players' back but nine points from five games here is not the worst record. The problem is that what's gone on before weighs heavily on us."
