Lehmann will decide on his Arsenal future in the next 72 hours

Ready to quit Arsenal? Lehmann
13 April 2012

Jens Lehmann will decide in the next 72 hours whether to take up an offer from German club Wolfsburg.

The Arsenal goalkeeper has lost his place to Manuel Almunia this season and has been contemplating a New Year exit.

Other clubs have also expressed interest and Lehmann, 38, said: "I should know more in a week, so that I can make a decision in the first days of the New Year. I've listened to something, but at the moment I can't say much about it."

Lehmann's prospects of first-team action do not look good.

He was dropped after two early season errors and Almunia has thrived as his replacement, while Poland's Lukasz Fabianski has taken over in the Gunners' Carling Cup team.
