Malone can't Jazz it up

Gordan Giricek scored 21 points to help the Utah Jazz spoil the return of Karl Malone to Salt Lake City by defeating basketball rivals the Los Angeles Lakers 88-83.

Lakers forward Malone, who had 18 seasons at Utah, was on the bench with a knee problem, but saw his side lose to the Jazz for the first time in six games.
