Michael Withers, who won everything in his eight years at Bradford Bulls, believes he faces his biggest challenge yet if he is to be part of aWigan revival.

Having survived the threat of relegation last year, Wigan are expecting a 20,000 crowd for Friday night's derby against Warrington at the JJB.

Withers, who won three Grand Finals, the Challenge Cup and the World Club Championship at Odsal, has taken a pay cut to join up with his old boss Brian Noble.

"I am not expecting to get in at full back after the exceptional season young Chris Ashton had," said the veteran Australian.

"Brian knows what I can do and the rest is up to me. I may have to wait but I'll take my chance when it comes."
