Murali back to put Smith's men to the test

South Africa face a huge challenge when they take on a jubilant Sri Lanka side in the First Test starting tomorrow in Galle.

The South Africans have only had one three-day game to acclimatise to Sri Lanka's slow, turning pitches.

The hosts, on the other hand, are buoyant after their Asia Cup win and spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is back in the side after pulling out of the two-Test series in Australia.

South Africa captain Graeme Smith said: "We all know what a world-class performer he is. Even without the banned doosra it is going to be a unique challenge."
