Neville blow for England

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that defender Gary Neville is likely to be out for three weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage in the 4-1 Barclays Premiership victory over Bolton at Old Trafford.

The injury, sustained in a challenge with Gary Speed, means the right-back will miss England's forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Israel and Andorra.

"Gary sustained ligament damage and is likely to be out for three weeks," Ferguson told PremPlus. "It is a blow."
