No shame for Karlsson as he lands Order of Merit

Robert Karlsson celebrated clinching the Order of Merit even though he failed to finish with a flourish.

The Swede was joint 32nd in the Volvo Masters 17 strokes behind Valderrama winner Soren Kjeldsen, of Denmark, who finished on eight under par.

But Karlsson was crowned Europe's top golfer after rivals Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington finished fourth and 13th. "It would have been fantastic to cap it off with a good week, but I'm not ashamed," he said.
