Notts County v Wimbledon

14 April 2012

(3pm, Meadow Lane).
Tickets: £10 (£5 concs). Wimbledon fans can pay on the day
Fact: Despite conceding 12 goals in their last six games, County are unbeaten in 11 games (discounting the LDV Trophy defeat to Port Vale)
Recommended pub: Hooters (Great Northern Close, London Road)
Fog, rain - what more can go wrong tomorrow as Notts County and Wimbledon try to get this game on at last? Locusts, pestilence, an outbreak of swamp fever in Nottingham? There is a more cynical view that both clubs will continue to try to arrange further postponements until everyone loses interest and they both sneak into the draw for the next round. Should the elements relent and the match does go on however, it promises to be a close encounter, with the Dons perhaps paying for not winning first time around.
VERDICT: DONS EXIT
