Snedeker hits new high after triumph

American Brandt Snedeker today rose to a career-best fourth in the world after following up back-to-back runner-up finishes with victory at the Pebble Beach Pro-am.

Snedeker (above), a two-shot victor after posting a tournament record low score of 19‑under 267, relegates Justin Rose and Louis Oosthuizen to fifth and sixth respectively. Richard Sterne moves up from 94th to 55th after victory at the Joburg Open.
