PCB call press conference

The Pakistan Cricket Board have called a press conference in Lahore following allegations bowler Mohammad Asif has been detained on drugs charges at Dubai airport.

Unconfirmed reports in Pakistan and India say the 25-year-old Asif has been arrested while on his way home from India, where he had been playing for the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.

Asif is one of Pakistan's most highly-rated fast bowlers and was named in the squad for the tri-series against Bangladesh and India, which starts later this week.
