Pennant extends Leeds stay

Jermaine Pennant has extended his loan spell with Leeds from Arsenal by another month.

The 20-year-old midfielder will now stay at Elland Road until March 19, after which the Premiership strugglers hope to further extend the deal on a month-by-month basis.

Pennant has made 23 Premiership appearances for Leeds since joining the club in August, scoring one goal.
