Pitman is hit by tax shock

Jenny Pitman faces a shock tax demand on the racing trophies she won as a National Hunt trainer.

Because she worked under the trading name of Jenny Pitman Racing Ltd, the Inland Revenue now requires her to pay tax on all racing trophies and other mementoes from her illustrious career.

"I'm absolutely mortified," said Pitman.
