Prior leads run haul

12 April 2012

Matt Prior struck a Test-best unbeaten hundred as England prepared for a victory push against West Indies in the final Test.

Wicketkeeper Prior finished on 131 not out as Andrew Strauss' team declared on 546 for six on the second evening at Queen's Park Oval.

That left West Indies with 19 overs to negotiate in their bid to stave off defeat and secure a first Test campaign win for five years.

Prior became the third centurion of the innings, following captain Strauss and Paul Collingwood, the overnight pair from day one.
