Rain ruins India push for victory

India's second Test against Australia ended in a draw today after bad weather brought an early end to the final day's play in Chennai.

The game was delicately poised as India were 19 without loss and needing another 210 runs for victory but heavy rain denied them the chance to take on the tourists' bowling attack.

Australia lead the series 1-0 with two Tests remaining.
